Nevada is a state of the western United States, bordered on the south-west by California, north through Oregon and Idaho and east by Utah and Arizona. Las Vegas, the capital of Clark County, is nicknamed "Sin City" (the city of sin) because of gambling, adult entertainment and prostitution legal in neighboring counties.
Because of its exceptional ability hotel management, the city occupies one first-place in the world in terms of organization of fairs and congresses. Las Vegas has also become the temple of shopping.
The population of the city (Las Vegas Valley), tripled in 20 years is 1.7 million. The yellow pages directory is updated twice a year. This growth is mainly due to an almost non-existent taxation, infrastructure foreground, house prices and a reasonable climate all year round sunshine. It is even more attractive city in the country.
The city, about forty million visitors a year, has diversified its economic activities. Banks and businesses have benefited from the absence of taxes on income.
