Alicante Medieval Market Entertainment
The Medieval Market in Alicante just mark the end of the holidays “Hogueras”. It takes place in the streets of the Old City from 25th to 29th June and transforms the old quarter in a typically medieval city.
Alicante is time travelling to the Middle Ages and revive a Medieval Market. You’ll find hundreds of stalls and craft workshops, the passacaglia, town criers, jugglers, musicians and storytellers.
The historic center of Alicante is transformed into a multi-ethnic and cultural space on the occasion of the celebration of the Medieval Market. With this event, the streets of the city center, located behind the Town Hall are transformed through the introduction of stanlls, coats of arms and tents. This transforms the town for a week, relying on the presence of artisans, town criers, storytellers, jugglers, troubadours, musicians, dancers and entertainers.

You’ll find stalls selling crafts and food, others will offer workshops and offer performances of artistic groups. The program is varied and fun! Visitors can find aloe vera stands, weaving looms, of Arabic calligraphy, ceramics and wood, wicker, soaps, sundials, the old drugstore, pastries Arabs, Bump tin and leather, resin molding, chocolate, candy, recycled glass, wooden toys, strategy games, ceramics, witches, amulets and more. And for the peckish, traditional sweets, dried fruit, bread fresh out of the oven, pastries and cheeses.
