Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (IATA: ADD, ICAO: HAAB) is an international airport serving Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. It is located in the Bole area of the city, 6 km northeast of the city center. The airport has a single passenger terminal, which is divided into two main sections: the International Terminal and the Domestic Terminal. The International Terminal is used for all international flights, while the Domestic Terminal is used for all domestic flights, as well as for flights to Djibouti and Somaliland. The airport has a single runway that is 3,620 metres long. A new terminal building is currently being constructed and is expected to be completed by 2019. Car rental companies are available at the airport. The airport is served by a number of taxi companies, which are available outside the terminal building. There is also a shuttle bus service that connects the airport with the city center. The journey time to the city center is around 20 minutes, and the distance is around 12 km.
