Casablanca Airport is the busiest airport in Morocco and the second busiest in Africa, after Johannesburg Airport. The airport is located in the north-western suburbs of Casablanca, in the commune of Nouaceur. It is operated by ONDA. The airport has two terminals, with a total of nine gates. The first terminal opened in 1970, and the second terminal was opened in 2005. The terminals are connected by a walkway. Casablanca Airport is served by a number of car rental companies, including Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz. The airport is located 30 km from the city center of Casablanca, and it takes about 45 minutes to get into the city center from the airport.
